"IF YOU HAVEN'T WEPT DEEPLY, YOU HAVEN'T BEGUN TO MEDITATE." -AJHAN CHAH Until you have attained the yogic siddhis of clairvoyance and telepathy, no one knows, really knows, what it is you are feeling or thinking at any time. We think they do, we hope they do, especially if they are close to us. We think it must be so clear to everyone, we feel so vulnerable that we think everyone must see exactly how we are feeling, but they don't. And when they don't know, we are so disappointed: they must not really love us, we think, or even know us. They don't know you because you haven't truly shared you. Sharing your feelings, your innermost fears and hopes is one of most inspiring things you can do. It shows others that although there is fear, there is also courage. That feeling of fear grows smaller and smaller each time you share your truth and thus own it. It is such a relief to simply say it out loud, even if it is to only to your cabbie, your doorman, your deli dude. Sometimes, total strangers are our best friends, yes? Who do you suppose they are anyway? Look deeply. Holy teachers are all around you, all the time. Look for them, trust them, love them. And be the same for them as they are for you.
