Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.

-SAINT FRANCIS OF ASSISI (1182-1226)

Although it appears to have existed before you were born and appears to exist after you die,
the world you experience does neither.
The world is not coming AT you. It is coming FROM you.
All phenomena begin and end with ourselves.

Everything you have ever think, say or do plants a seed in your mind.
Modern science informs us that the mind has 65 discreet impressions every finger snap.
That's 65 seeds being planted per second!
How may seeds is that an hour, a day, a week, a year? A lifetime? Many lifetimes?

Each seed planted eventually blossoms into the thing we call ourselves and our world.
Good seeds (aka. our thoughts, words and actions) are said to be seeds that have
the welfare of others as their motivation.
Bad seeds have our own welfare as their motivation.

A good yogi or yogini carefully watchs their mind,
knowing that every moment a seed is being planted, comprised of 65 different parts,
that is creating their future life.
As you sow, so shall you reap. What famous yogi said that?

Tomorrow is the anniversary or 9/11. Read the prayer of St. Francis over and over.
Commit it to memory.
Dedicate your life to helping others. Remove yourself from the equation.
Do it all for someone else.
Plant the seeds for your own happiness by making others happy.

Honor your memories in the right way, by understanding where your world is coming from.

Peace to All, Kelly
